What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address. As you use Joe, we store:

Your chat messages and Joe's responses (30-day rolling window)
Memories about your tasks, people, and finances
Your account preferences (name, timezone)

How we use it

We use your data solely to provide and improve Joe. We send your message text and context to DeepSeek's API to generate responses. We use Sentry to collect crash and error diagnostics. We use Resend to send you emails (OTP codes, account deletion confirmations).

Where it's stored

All data is stored in Neon (PostgreSQL). Neon retains automatic backups per their backup policy. We do not backup to external systems beyond Neon's native retention.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time via the settings menu. This will permanently delete your account, all messages, and all domain data (tasks, people, finances). You can export your data manually by contacting us.

Changes

We'll notify you of material changes to this policy. Your continued use after notification means acceptance.
